A PURPOSEFUL LIFE; NEW TESTAMENT STORIES
NOT WORTHY OF ATTENTION D PART VII
"I, Jesus, am in Jericho... I have been spending time with a man named Zacchaeus.... He is a tax collector... His life has been transformed by My visit.... He has now become a generous man... He will be a blessing to his town.... Many people will begin to love him.... Including many of the poor people in Jericho... It may well be that many people living after Zacchaeus will be lonely just like Zacchaeus was lonely when I met Him.... These people may feel too that they do not measure up to the standard of others because of their sins....If that is the case then I would like these people to know that I want to spend time with them as well... Of course, I cannot spend time with them in the same way that I did with Zacchaeus.... But they can spend time with Me when they pray to Me and when they read the Word of God."... Please read the typed out attachment when you will learn that Jesus would like to spend time with you just as He spent time with Zacchaeus....

NOT WORTHY OF ATTENTION D PART VII
Perhaps you can identify with Zacchaeus in that you feel you too do not measure up to the standard of other believers for you know that you have committed sins that have separated you from God. But Jesus wants you to know that He sees the longing in your heart to be made right with Him. And He wants to spend time with you as you can read in Revelation 3:20 where Jesus says
"Here I am! I stand at the door. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me."
Therefore, be like Zacchaeus and allow Jesus access into all the areas of your life and He will transform your life so you will become a blessing to others. Of course, Jesus cannot visit you physically as He was able to do with Zacchaeus. But you can spend time with Him when you pray to Him and read His Word.
P.S. We have come to the end of the story in "Not Worthy of Attention". Our next story will be of "A Favoured Home."
