                         ATTACHMENT AN ALL IMPORTANT DECISION

                                                            PART ONE

In this story we will focus on a young woman named Rebekah. However, before doing so, we will take a brief look at a man named Abraham. You can read of him in Genesis 12:1-3

The Lord had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you: I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you , and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

Abraham had obeyed God and had taken his wife Sarah, his nephew Lord and his servants with him and they had travelled to the land of Canaan. Eventually they had a son named Isaac as you can read in Genesis 21:1-5

Now the Lord was gracious to Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah what He had promised. Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him. Abraham gave the name Isaac to the son Sarah bore him. When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him. Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.

It has taken a long time for God to come through for Abraham and Sarah. However, they eventually had a son so God's promise that Abraham would become a great nation can actually be fulfilled. How is that for you, are you still waiting for God to fulfill a promise to you? If that is you then don't give up for God will fulfill His promise to you but it will be in His time and not in your time.
