A WALK THROUGH THE BOOK OF ACTS

                    PART XXII - III

"I, Paul, had shared with the crowd at the temple here in Jerusalem about the Voice from heaven Who had spoken to me when I was on my way to Damascus....I then waited.... I wondered what the people would think of my experience... I then noticed some people whispering to each other....No doubt, they were asking each other if what I had told them could be true... Thankfully, the whispering soon stopped... So I continued speaking.... I knew what I wanted to share next with them was of great importance.... For I was about to share with them Who had spoken to me.... It was Jesus of Nazareth Who had spoken to me!!... The revelation that Jesus Himelf had spoken to me had been a great shock to me at that time... Likewise, the people in front of me would equally be shocked to hear that the Lord Jesus had spoken to me... And they would be shocked to hear that I had been persecuting Him."... Please read the typed out attachment when you will learn what Paul reveals about the Voice from heaven Who had spoken to him....

                                                            PART XXII - III

Paul could hear some of the crowd at the temple in Jerusalem murmuring to each other, "Could it be true that a Voice spoke to him?"... However, others told them to be quiet for they wanted to hear who had spoken to him. Paul then told the crowd that had asked the Person Who had spoken to him who He was as you can read in Acts 22:8a

"Who are You, Lord?"

The Voice then answered him in a way that he had never expected to hear as you can read in Acts 22:8b

"I am Jesus of Nazareth, Who you are persecuting."

Paul was, of course, shocked to hear these words. The crowd would have been shocked to hear these words as well. They would not have known what to make of them.
